Ed Vasquez, M.S., BCBA

Program Supervisor

Ed Vasquez received his B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from the University of California Merced, in 2019. During his undergraduate career, he was an undergraduate research assistant working under the guidance of Dr. Jennifer Howell. In 2024, he earned his M.S. in ABA from California State University, Northridge, graduating summa cum laude. During his graduate career, he was a graduate research assistant working under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Chunying Jin. Ed’s academic and clinical dedication has been recognized with multiple honors, including the Scientist- Practitioner Award and CalABA Student Research Award in 2024.

Additionally, Ed presented his research at national conferences, including CalABA and CSUNposium on DEI topics like identifying effective strategies to promote correct pronoun use in college students by using behavior analytic technologies.

Ed specializes in providing compassionate, evidence-based support for neurodivergent youth ages 2 to 18. Ed believes that therapy should never be one-size fits-all, focusing instead on developing highly individualized programs that honor each child’s unique strengths, communication style, and developmental needs.

Throughout his career, Ed has worked across many settings such as clinic, home, and school helping clients build critical life skills, self-advocacy, and emotional regulation. His goal is to create safe, engaging, and joyful learning environment where kids and teens can thrive, build confidence, and become independent.
