Ana Sampedro, M.S.

Associate Program Supervisor

Ana Sampedro Castillo is a first-generation Latina and bilingual professional with over seven years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She earned her M.S. in ABA from California State University, Northridge, graduating summa cum laude. Her work was recognized with multiple honors, including the Scientist–Practitioner Award and two CalABA Student Research Awards.

During her graduate training, Ana presented her research at national conferences, including CalABA and CSUNposium, on topics such as the effects of physical activity on sleep, effective strategies for teaching behavioral concepts, and the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior. She also served as President of the Student Association for Behavior Analysis (SABA), where she expanded opportunities for student engagement and professional development. Ana continues to collaborate on research and publications with her mentor, Dr. Chunying Jin, reflecting her passion for bridging research and practice.

Clinically, she has supported children and families across diverse settings as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, Trainer, and Registered Behavior Technician. Her expertise includes conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans, and staff training.

Guided by her commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practices, Ana strives to advance equity, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes for the communities she serves, while contributing to the growth and dissemination of the field through research, practice, and mentorship.
