Leslie Sandoval, M.S, BCBA

Program Supervisor

Leslie received her B.S. in Health Science from California State University, Fullerton in 2018 and M.S in Applied Behavior Analysis from Pepperdine University in 2023. She became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for empowering individuals with autism and development differences to build meaningful relationships.

Throughout her career, Leslie has worked with clients ranging in age from 3 to 18 years old across a variety of settings and developmental needs. Her clinical experience includes developing and implementing individualized programs focused on self-advocacy, communication, social skills, peer interactions, executive functioning, and adaptive skills. She has also supported clients in developing the skills necessary to navigate social situations, build relationships, and participate more independently within their communities.

Leslie’s clinical philosophy centers around the belief that individuals should be given meaningful opportunities to make choices, express their preferences, communicate their needs, and advocate for themselves. Leslie is passionate about collaborating with families, caregivers, and treatment teams to create individualized, functional interventions that can be meaningfully generalized beyond therapy. She values compassionate, socially meaningful treatment and aims to ensure that ABA services support each client’s unique strengths, preferences, and long-term goals.

She hopes to continue to support her Latino/a community and bridge the gap between understanding autism, ABA and available resources within Latino communities.

Leslie is a resident of the San Fernando Valley and primarily serves clients in that area.

The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the progress of both my clients and their families. Seeing how they develop confidence and become independent is what makes my work so fulfilling!
