Alisa Vaynter, M.Ed., BCBA
Program Supervisor
Alisa is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over 15 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and more than a decade of practice as a BCBA. She earned her BA in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands and her Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude. Over the course of her career, Alisa has been deeply committed to supporting individuals with diverse learning needs. She values building strong, collaborative relationships with families and interdisciplinary teams and is passionate about helping learners develop meaningful skills that promote independence and improve quality of life.
Alisa has also volunteered internationally with the Global Autism Project, traveling to Bangalore, India to support the Academy for Severe Handicaps and Autism (ASHA). During this time, she worked closely alongside teachers, therapists, caregivers, and community members to help develop curriculum and provide training for educators and parents, with the goal of strengthening sustainable autism services within the community.
Alisa continues to draw inspiration from the learners, caregivers, and families she works with every day. She is passionate about advocacy, spreading autism acceptance, and approaching her work through a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming lens that respects and celebrates each individual’s unique strengths and abilities.
