Stefanie Colato, M.A., BCBA

Clinical Services Manager

Stefanie Briones received both her master’s degree in behavioral clinical psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Northridge. Stefanie joined ABI in 2008 while completing her bachelor’s degree, and immediately fell in love with helping her clients and their families. Since then, Stefanie has been promoted from the position of skills trainer to lead skills trainer to her current position as program supervisor.   As her education and experience in the field of ABA and autism increased, so did her passion.

As a program supervisor, Stefanie enjoys designing effective and innovative treatment programs for the children with whom she works.  She is particularly interested in language acquisition and development, the treatment of challenging behavior, and working with and empowering parents and new skills trainers.  Stefanie describes the most rewarding aspect of her career at ABI being watching and participating in her clients’ progress each day. She enjoys being a part of shaping the lives of the children and families with whom she works.

Stefanie resides in the San Fernando Valley and primarily serves families living in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys.

Watching our clients make new friends at school and seeing them laugh and play together independently has been so fun to watch through the years.
